Do you guys remember the urban legend that a little girl was raped in the toilet in a shopping centre, and it was not reported on either TV or newspapers as the centre was afraid of their reputation going down?
That rumour spread out in my town a few years ago as well.
A mother of an elementary school girl took it seriously, and asked whether it was true or not to the big shopping centre in the town.
The owner said “Not at all”
But the mother persistently asked like “are you sure?” and “aren’t you hiding anything?”
Then the owner clearly said
“Every bathroom in our centre has security cameras, and I’ve been monitoring all by myself but I have never seen such incidents ever”
